The original author, Takehiko Inoue, supervised the modeling and coloring to ensure their appearance are close to the source material. Their faces are digitally printed for highly detailed expressions, and they're carefully sculpted to reproduce every fold and wrinkle in their uniforms. Each one has a base that resembles a basketball court (rather than the black base included with the figures that are sold individually), and they come in an awesome box that looks like a basketball box!
